Bridget and her Grandmother are about to become roommates. However, what Bridget saw as a unique opportunity to stay with her favorite Nana in New York for the summer quickly turns into an experience she’ll never forget. It seems her sweet Grandma is running an illegal boutique from her apartment, selling hand-made naughty knickers to every senior citizen in the five borough area!

Will Bridget be able to handle all the excitement? Will her Nana get arrested - or worse! - evicted?

Meet the Cast...

Carol.JPGCarol Lewis as Sylvia Charles

Carol started "play" acting as a young girl. She would put on skits in her backyard and invite all the neighborhood kids. Of course, she made them pay a nickel to see the show! Then in 8th grade she played "Maria" in the Sound of Music. It was just one scene from the movie, but she remembers sitting up on a ladder at the back of the auditorium and lip syncing "The Hills Are Alive". Needless to say she was a little petrified! She also did a commercial for Eastern Airlines back in the early 80's, where she had one line, "We're very excited about it"! But her acting debut was as "Martha Brewster" in ITC's Arsenic and Old Lace. She is excited to be returning to the stage with ITC once again!

Judy Daye.jpgJudy Daye as Vera Walters

Judy is a veteran of Marco Theater. She has been in over twenty local productions including Butterflies Are Free, Cemetery Club, and Island Theater Company’s first play A Bad Year for Tomatoes, and more recently as "Abby Brewster" as Arsenic and Old Lace. Judy also performs with the Marco Island Historical Society and has developed a one-woman show, Fannie Frugal, which she has taken on the road. Judy serves on ITC’s advisory panel and has been instrumental in selecting many of our plays. You are guaranteed to enjoy Judy's "Vera" during this play!

Abby Nanas Pic.jpgAbby Yetter as Bridget Charles

Over the last 22 years, Abby has performed in over 50 shows with community, regional, and Equity theaters around the country. She has privately studied voice since the age of nine and has studied acting since she was seven. Of the many shows, Abby held the leading role in twelve of them, with some of her favorite roles being "Peter Pan", "Annie", "Oliver Twist", and "Cookie" in Neil Simon’s Rumors. Abby now performs with theater groups, choirs, and professional musicians throughout South Florida and gives private lessons to evolving vocalists from her home studio on Marco Island.

Ron Trebilcock.jpgRon Trebilcock as Tom O'Grady

Ron is thrilled to be making his Marco Island stage debut with the Island Theater Company.  Prior to moving to Marco he lived in Los Angeles.  While there he performed on stage as well as in commercials, television and film.  Appearing in various Soap Operas, most notably in a recurring role on General Hospital, and a co-starring role on an episode of AE's The Glades filmed in Miami.  Some of his work on GH can be found on youtube just enter his name.  He thinks he may be a victim of type casting by the Director!

John Moulton.jpgJohn Moulton as Gil Schmidt

John made his stage debut in Island Theater Company’s Mama Won't Fly.  He had several signature parts including barkeep "Mitch", truck driver "Red", and his most memorable and fashionably dressed as "Spud Farley", complete with spike heels. Since then he has been a favorite cast member in many of ITC's productions including Blame It On Beckett, Saga of Roaring Gulch, and Arsenic and Old Lace.

John is a 5th generation South Floridian. He was born and raised in Miami before marrying the love of his life, Ricki, and moving to Marco Island. In his spare time John likes to write, paint, plays tennis and online games.  When asked what makes him laugh, he promptly replied, "Politicians".

Cathy.JPGCatherine Clausen-Neff as Heather Van Pree

Cathy grew up in Caracas, Venezuela.  She has lived in this area since 1980. She was bitten by the acting bug when Pattie Ziesig cast her in her first production... Mama Won’t Fly. Her favorite play is Blame it on Beckett, and she is a self-proclaimed natural born actor. She has also appeared in ITC's productions of BridesmaidsSaga of Roaring Gulch, and Arsenic and Old Lace. We are always pleased to welcome Cathy back to the stage with us!
